On the United Nations report on Jaish and Lashkar sending terrorists to Afghanistan, the Ministry of External Affairs said that this reinforces India’s claim that Pakistan is a center of global terrorism.
In fact, according to a United Nations report, Pakistan-based terrorist organizations Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba are sending explosives capable and trained fighters to Afghanistan to hinder the ongoing peace process there.
Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba have carried out several attacks in India, including the 2008 Mumbai terror attack and the Pulwama attack in 2019.
In New Delhi, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs said on Tuesday (June 2) that the UN report substantiates India’s claim that Pakistan is the main center of global terrorism. The ministry said that terrorists and terrorist organizations are enjoying safe havens in Pakistan.
External Affairs Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said, “This reinforces the long-standing claim by India that Pakistan has been the center of global terrorism.”
Incite violence and spread terrorism. Pakistan has failed to meet its international obligations, including relevant UN Security Council resolutions to curb terrorism and the Financial Action Task Force.
