Chinese media Global Times claims, the Most Modern & Powerful Cannon deployed on Line of Actual Control (LAC)
During the ongoing tension between the India-China border, China is adopting different tactics. Meanwhile, China’s official media Global Times has claimed that the Chinese Army has deployed its most modern and powerful modern cannon PCL-181 on the Ladakh border.
In fact, according to a report in the Chinese newspaper Global Times, a brigade of PLA i.e. People’s Liberation Army had already added new weapons to this cannon. The same cannon has also been deployed on the Ladakh border. This cannon is 155 mm.
This cannon was told that it weighs only 25 tons, this self-propelled howitzer can be used for a long time. Due to the low weight, it can be taken even where the amount of oxygen is low.
The newspaper also claimed that during the Doklam dispute in 2017, the People’s Liberation Army of China had deployed PCL-181 itself. However, peace was established thereafter talks between the two countries.
Let us tell that India-China military activities have intensified due to the tension arising on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh. The situation on the border has not returned to normal even after the delegates met in the past.
What is India’s position
Actually, China has maintained its army around the Line of Actual Control in East Ladakh. In view of this, India has also deployed its army. Chinese troops have been engaged from Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh, so India has also deployed a large number of its troops in response to this.
According to sources, in view of all the situations, additional troops have been deployed in the Ladakh region. Not only Ladakh but also in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh, there is complete preparation for the army.
On the other hand, an additional army has also been deployed in Himachal Pradesh. Most recently, Western Army Commander Lieut. General RP Singh visited the forward posts of this area. He took stock of the situation on the tour and instructed the army to be ready to deal with any situation ahead.
The activation of the army has been increased in the border areas of Uttarakhand, Garhwal, and Kumaon sector. Air Force is also in active mode in Chinyalisaur to help the army in the forward sector of Uttarakhand. Chinese troops are continuously sending helicopters to the Barahoti area on the outskirts. This has led to increasing tension between the two sides.
