Madhya Pradesh: Case filed against Digvijay Singh for sharing a fake video of CM Shivraj
The leaders of Madhya Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party complained against former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh in the Crime Branch Police here today over the alleged video of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
The BJP said that former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh had tried to tarnish the image of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan by putting it on a cropped video tweeter.
BJP leaders complained about this by reaching the crime branch. The party leaders submitted a complaint letter to the Crime Branch, demanding criminal action against Digvijay by registering a criminal case.
BJP leaders have accused Digvijay Singh in the complaint letter that the video is from January 12. At that time, Chauhan has responded to a question asked by a journalist about the liquor policy of the then Congress government, which tried to tarnish Chief Minister Chauhan’s image by distorting it. BJP leaders say that this act falls in the category of crime, so punitive action should be taken against Singh.
