The water of Lonar lake suddenly turned red, scientist shocked, crowd, gathered to see
A surprising incident has come out of the Buldhana district of Maharashtra. The water of the famous Lonar lake has suddenly changed to red. Common people and scientists are surprised to see this change for the first time.
Tehsildar Saifan Nadaf of Buldhana district told that for the last 2-3 days the water of Lonar lake has turned red. We have asked the forest department to check the water sample and find out the reason.
Scientists say that the watercolor has become red due to the fungus (fungus) in the Lonar lake named Halobacteria and Dunaliella salina.
The rain caused by the nature storm caused Halobacteria and Dunaliella salina fungi to sit in the foothills of the lake and the watercolor turned red.
However, scientists also say that there can be many reasons behind the water of Lonar lake becoming red. Which is yet to be investigated.
At the same time, after the watercolor of Lonar lake is red, a large number of people are coming from the surrounding areas to see the lake. Some people are considering it as a miracle, while many rumors have gained momentum.
It is known that the Lonar lake is very mysterious. All the agencies from NASA to the world have been engaged for years to learn the secrets of this lake.
Lonar lake is round in shape. Its upper diameter is about 7 kilometers. While this lake is about 150 meters deep. It is estimated that the meteorite that collided with the Earth would have been about 1 million tons due to which the lakes were formed.
The water of Lonar Lake is saline. The villagers here also tell a shocking incident related to this lake. They say that this lake dried up in 2006. At that time, the villagers saw salt in the lake instead of water and saw small and shining pieces of other minerals. But after some time it rained here and the lake was filled again.
Recently, research on Lonar lake has revealed that this lake is about 5 lakh 70 thousand years old. That is, this lake was also present in Ramayana and Mahabharata periods.
Scientists believe that this lake was formed due to meteorite hitting the earth, but no trace of where the meteorite went.
At the same time, some scientists had claimed in the seventies that this lake must have formed due to the mouth of the volcano. But later it was proved wrong because if the lake were made of volcanoes, it would not have been 150 meters deep.
A few years ago NASA scientists described this lake as a lake made of basaltic rocks. It was also said that such a lake is found on the surface of Mars. Because the chemical properties of its water also match the chemical properties of the lakes there.
