In this operation, a soldier of Assam Rifles was also injured. So far 4 AK-47s and two Chinese MQs have been recovered. The operation is still going on.

Six militants along with security forces were killed in the encounter in Khonsa area of ​​Arunachal Pradesh early Saturday. A soldier of the Assam Rifles was injured in the operation and is being sent to a military hospital.

Sources said that all the militants killed in the operation are likely to belong to Naga militant organization NSCN (IM). The encounter took place around 4:30 am. He said six weapons along with munitions have also been recovered from the area.
